BREAKING NEWS from Sweden, where several people have been injured after a man armed with a sword entered a high school.
The attack happened at Brinell School in Fagersta, in central Sweden, on Friday afternoon.
Police say they received reports of what they described as ongoing deadly violence at the school and launched a major emergency response.
One person has now been taken into custody, and police say there is no longer a danger to the public.
The school has around 450 students aged between 16 and 20, and several other schools and public buildings in the area were placed into lockdown as a precaution.
The exact number of people injured, and the seriousness of their injuries, have not yet been confirmed.
The motive for the attack is also currently unknown, and police remain at the scene.
